There are lots of great photo spots and plenty of parking, with spectacular mountain and lake views. The restrooms are well located, and there's a dog park with potty bags. The pier is walkable, but it has a 4-inch drop and water came onto the middle of the platform when several people tried to cross at once. I'd suggest just 1-2 people crossing at a time.
A family and pet friendly park with a nice picnic area. Good place to stop for sunset or to go kayaking.
