Katey is such a sweetheart, and the place is very dog friendly, though I didn't bring my dog. My single-bed room was amazingly comfortable. You can hear music from Big Bear Brewery across the street when you're outside, but inside the room you don't hear it. The place feels very personable, like there's an actual person putting care into the atmosphere. I loved it!

For my birthday, my wife and I came for a little weekend getaway. When we arrived, I got a happy birthday greeting, and Kathy gave me a rundown of fun local activities and good restaurants. Katey was a wonderful host. Room #2 was clean, cute, and cozy, with enough space for the two of us and my bike. Booking and payment were very easy, with no junk fees. I really appreciated the hospitality and will be back. Thank you!

Visited in 2017: I felt comfortable leaving my car at the cabin while I went hiking, and the manager was friendly and gave me useful restaurant and hiking suggestions. The accommodations were beautiful, spotless, and peaceful. I rarely give a hotel the top rating, but this stay exceeded what I expected. I plan to return.

Katy was great, and room #1 was cute, very clean, and had a kitchen. It was a little noisy since it's closest to the road, but I slept well. I stayed in another cabin a few years ago and that one was quiet. The location is great, only a mile from The Village. A big plus is that there are no extra fees, the price is what they advertised, which is rare to find.
