The room was comfortable, and the location is excellent, though the interior could be better maintained. This is a cute old hostel. When I came down for hot cocoa, I found that mice had gotten into the box of cocoa mix on the breakfast table. I’d be cautious about eating there. We brought our own cereal and went out for our other meals.

Jimmy was great and clearly cared about my safety. It was a quiet night, and the sheets, bathroom, kitchen, and other shared spaces were clean, though the room could use a good dusting. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working while I was there. Parking was fine, but I can imagine it getting tight in high season. The place is just outside town and the village, but still convenient. I can see why it gets the reviews it does.

The place was quiet and peaceful, and we really enjoyed our stay. There’s a shared kitchen, free breakfast, and lots of amenities. The Village shopping center is so close. Highly recommend.

Jimmy, Adrian and Amanda were genuinely caring, friendly, and helpful. They may be near the end of the list, but I was lucky to meet them. The cabin’s huge, with a mansion-like music room and a big rec room with a pool table, cards, board games, and TV. It’s an old building, though. It gets cleaned daily, but it’s still old. Bring headphones, since people sometimes watch YouTube late, and an extra towel can give you more privacy on a lower bunk. I was in my own little cave and didn’t feel bad playing games on my phone late, since the light barely got out. Walking to the shops and restaurants, or what I call restaurant row, takes about 15 minutes at most. The location is unbelievable. Enjoy it, it’s so worth it. Check with them about parking if there’s snow on the road!

I came across this lovely hostel by chance and spent a night there. The staff and atmosphere were great. I would’ve liked to stay longer, but the beds weren’t very comfortable, so I left after one night. Even so, it was worth it.
