Stargazer Chalet-1859 by Big Bear Vacations

The cabin had all the basics we needed, from linens and shower items to a well-stocked kitchen with coffee supplies and a hot water boiler. We were able to get into town for dinner easily, while still having enough distance from the neighbors to feel private. The indoor fireplace got plenty of use. It snowed, so we didn't get to try the hot tub or outdoor fire pits. We needed a weekend away and were glad we found this place. We'd love to return.

Being right on Big Bear Lake was the highlight for my family and me, with lovely views from several rooms and a private boat dock that made it easy to go kayaking. The cabin was spacious but still cozy, with plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms for a family or larger group to spread out. Restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, gas stations, and marinas were all close by, so we could enjoy the lake and relax without going far. Our host was responsive and genuinely helpful throughout, making the stay feel welcoming and easy. We had an amazing time and only wish we'd stayed longer. We'd gladly come back.

The place was clean, comfortable, and cozy, and we had a very enjoyable stay. When the refrigerator gave us trouble, the management team responded quickly and took care of the repair responsibly. Great customer service. We'd definitely return.

Juan made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived at the front desk. He was attentive and really knowledgeable, with lots of recommendations and tips, plus a bit of Big Bear history. His kindness and professionalism meant a lot to me, and I'll definitely be back. He deserves a raise, no lie. Managers, don't let this one go! Lol. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
