We’ve stayed here three times now. The cabin is always clean, the beds are comfortable, and hiking trails are right across the street. It’s just right for a cabin in the woods.

There was room for all our guests while still keeping that cozy cabin feel. Two cabins sit just a few feet apart, and my mother could retreat to the side one for some peace and quiet when the kids got too rowdy. The woods were serene, with hiking trails only about 50 feet from the front door. It’s far enough from town to be quiet, yet close enough to reach the downtown action. The hosts are amazing and thought of every detail. Highly recommended.

The kids loved the board games and arcade machine in the loft, and we all enjoyed having hiking trails right across the street, with beautiful views and plenty of sledding spots. We were two families with kids, and everyone was comfortable all weekend. The house is lovely, with a fireplace, kitchen and living room, private bedrooms, a terrace, and lots of parking. The street is quiet, making it a great quick getaway with kids or without. Travis and Shannon gave us lots of recommendations and were super responsive to our questions. We enjoyed the house as much as its location, and I’d stay again in a heartbeat.

The small touches, like complimentary deodorants and mouth wash, made a difference, and the cabin is down the street from the slopes. We hadn’t stayed in a cabin for years, and this place definitely set a new standard. A must visit, with all the boxes checked. 12/10 recommend, and we’ll most certainly be back to Twin Pines Lodge for more peace and tranquility!!!!

Being able to start a hike just by walking across the street made the trip extra special. The location and layout were great, with lots of room for everyone in the family, and every detail in the home felt considered.
