Starting 2026 here was lovely. We took the kayak out and a sea turtle greeted us almost right away. The place was clean and tidy, and I really liked the decor. Breakfasts were fresh, tasty and different, and we enjoyed walking the beach and spotting Key Deer. We also learned a lot about turtles and how to help them survive. Harry and Jen put so much loving care and effort into the place. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Breakfast was outstanding, usually a wrap, burrito or sandwich with a side, a sweet treat and a smoothie. You can also have lunch there. Jen and Harry were wonderful and went above and beyond for us. Our dogs got freshly made vegan treats every day, and we loved that the bed and breakfast welcomes pets. We had the best time at the Deer Run and will be back.

Key deer were all around, and the breakfasts were included. Lunch was available for a reasonable fee, too. My wife and I had a wonderful time at Deer Run on the Atlantic and highly recommend it. Jen and Harry were great hosts, very accommodating, and our two small dogs had just as much fun as we did.

We used it as a great base for the lower Keys, especially Key West. The property is right on the water and faces south, so you can see both sunrise and sunset there. It was very quiet, with Key Deer wandering through. Harry and Jen were fantastic hosts and can provide breakfast and lunch if you need it.

We loved Deer Run on the Atlantic so much that we got married there. Jen and Harry helped us arrange an officiant and a photographer, and she even made us a cake. Jen's vegan cooking was so good that I think I'd be vegan if I could cook like her. The rooms are decorated with the environment in mind, and breakfast was sooo good. It's a quiet spot with beautiful scenery and Key deer, a nice way to enjoy what the Keys used to be like. Marathon and Key West are close enough for day trips, while the resort is away from the crowds.
