Hotel Settles

We had a great meal at Settles Grill while visiting Big Spring. The Shishito Peppers, Ribeye Steak, and Angus Settles Burger were all cooked just right and tasted amazing. The Ribeye was especially juicy and tender. Tamme was our server, and she was polite, friendly, professional, and quick with the service. Hotel Settles itself was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I highly recommend staying there and eating at Settles Grill if you’re in Big Spring, Texas. Don’t miss the Ribeye. Thanks to the whole Hotel Settles team for a great experience.

The bar staff and everyone else we met were all smiles, and did a great job. At check-in, Nicolette at the front desk made us feel right at home in this stunning hotel. She knew the hotel’s history and had an answer to every question, which made the arrival experience wonderful. The place was amazing and the staff were so attentive. Pictures don’t do it justice. We’ll definitely come back when we’re passing through and hope Nicolette will greet us again. One of the best stays we’ve had.

The lobby looked so cozy with its Christmas decorations, and we had drinks at the bar followed by dinner in the restaurant. It’s a charming historic hotel with a careful renovation, and we had a lovely stay. Bring earplugs, though. Even on the eighth floor, we could hear some louder traffic late at night.

On my way home from Big Bend, I needed somewhere to stay and found Hotel Settles in a search. What a gem, and the restoration is wonderful. The rooms are large, and Abigail at reception was very helpful. I had a cocktail and charcuterie board at The Pharmacy Bar, where the bartenders were excellent. If I pass through again, Hotel Settles will be near the top of my list.
