Hilltop Inn by Riversage

The rooms were clean and consistently set up nicely, and breakfast was great. We stayed while some remodeling was underway, so it should be even better once that’s done. The staff were very helpful with things we needed, including a toilet extender and a fan. Check with them before going without something. They also have an accessible room if needed. I’ll take photos next time.

My newborn daughter and I needed somewhere to stay after my two-year-old son caught a virus and we couldn’t go home from the hospital. Our smaller house wouldn’t have let me keep her safely separate, so staying at Hilltop was the right choice. We didn’t see much of the staff, and they didn’t see much of us, but every time we spoke they were warm and friendly. You can tell the people who work here put care into the little things that make guests feel comfortable. I’m so grateful for the stay.

The people here are wonderful, friendly, and fun, and they seem to enjoy their jobs. They have cookies, too. We walked to my prep and surgery using the elevated Skywalk, which is practically connected to the hotel parking lot. They sometimes have wheelchairs available. I couldn’t eat, but my husband loved the breakfast. The pillows were so comfortable that we ordered some for home. They’re also easy to get a refund from if you need to check out early, though you have to tell them by noon the day before to avoid being charged for an extra day.

The room was pleasant and quiet, and I enjoyed the breakfast. I did notice a faint dog smell, though that’s probably to be expected at a hotel that welcomes pets.
