Our flight wasn't until 5:20 PM, and with no rental car we were worried about the gap after the 11 AM checkout. Todd at the front desk was genuinely concerned and started looking for options. He and Mary quickly worked on a late checkout. They weren't sure at first whether management would approve it, but Todd said he'd go to bat for us the next morning and was clear about what to expect. Nichole also made our very late arrival feel easy and welcoming. Everyone we met was kind, professional, and helpful. Montana hospitality at its best. Five stars.

Todd, Mary, and Nicole are a big reason I'll return. Todd went out of his way to make sure my coworker and I were comfortable and was happy to help however he could. We stayed four nights while I was in Billings for work, and the price was reasonable, which had me expecting a bad stay. It was actually warm, clean, and spacious, with great breakfast and coffee. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. Thanks for the help and great attitudes. Real hospitality is alive and well at the TRAILHEAD INN, Billings Montana!

We've stayed here for several years with our whole team, and the staff have always been friendly and very accommodating. They deserve six stars. The owners are clearly making an effort to keep improving the hotel, and the upgrades are noticeable. It seems to get better every year. I'm very happy with our stay and grateful for the service. Highly recommend.

Dogs are welcome and the service was good, but the piano in the middle of the building made it hard to sleep. Maybe the sound echoing up the tall space is fun for whoever's playing, but a kid was at it at 6 AM on a Saturday. Good luck sleeping in or turning in early.

Nicole and Todd were a huge help after we came straight from a terrible experience with the Motel 6 being closed. The value is hard to beat, and you can walk easily to the convention center.
