The bed was good and the sheets were clean, but the ceiling plaster was falling in at least five spots. The shower drain backed up, and there was major discoloration on the refrigerator’s back wall, most likely mold. It felt like nobody had paid attention to the details. A typical 1.5-star room.

We felt safe coming and going, with no one hanging around outside, and it was quiet without much noise. The hotel was well kept inside and out. Breakfast was simple but enough, with coffee, cereal, fruit, bagels, and fresh waffles. The staff were helpful and polite. It’s clean and safe, but not fancy or high-end, and a good place to stay without spending too much.

The staff were really nice, and our superior king room was very clean with lots of space. The bed was soft and the pillows were comfy. Breakfast was okay, bagels, toast, waffles, and apples. A nice hotel for the price.

The coffee was watery this time, and I don't even bother with the "breakfast." What really got to me was waiting 20 minutes at the desk for someone to come check me out and print a receipt. The Clerk was surly and said it was after 9 am and she was busy. That's unacceptable. We've stayed at this Red Roof at least twice a year for 15 years because they take our dog, though luckily most places allow pets now.
