Amishview Inn Suites

The kids still talk about spotting a hot air balloon from our hotel room one morning. Breakfast was a big hit too, with Amish breakfast sausage, potatoes, made-to-order omelets, pastries, and plenty more. It was crowded, so we ate on the couch by the fireplace, which felt like a treat for the boys since they can’t do that at home. Sweet tea, water, and coffee were available all the time, which helped. We also used the indoor pool, and towels were right there by the pool. We had dinner at The Smokehouse next door and really enjoyed it. Go early, though, since it closes at 8 PM on Friday nights. Our family of five had plenty of room in the 1-bedroom suite. It was very clean and had a small fridge, microwave, and sink. The microwave is a bit small, so an 8oz glass bottle won’t fit for warming. The kids loved taking bubble baths in the clawfoot tub while watching a movie, and stayed in there for ages. The front desk staff were kind and patient at check-in, even with my son getting excited about ringing the bell. I’d asked for a pack-n-play for our baby beforehand, and it was already set up when we arrived. That was thoughtful, especially since we’ve had to wait for one at other places. We were there for a weekend, and it turned out to be a wonderful stay. My well-traveled kids even called it the best hotel ever. I’d recommend it to families looking for a getaway.

My husband brings me here for my birthday, and I love how peaceful it is. The staff are always awesome and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. I’d recommend this hotel.

We’ve been staying here for multiple nights twice a year over the past two years, and AmishView has become our happy place. The rooms are extremely clean and sanitary, the breakfast is to die for, and most of the other guests are kind too. The staff are absolutely lovely. We love it here and plan to be guests for life!

The breakfast was amazing, and Miller’s smorgasbord was very good too. There were also nice shops and some wineries in the area. For my wife’s birthday, we stayed in room 458. The location was lovely, with a view of the Amish farmlands from our room. The room was nice and very clean, though wallpaper was peeling off the wall and the king bed definitely needed a mattress. We’d asked for a quiet room months ahead. The first night was fine, but early on the second morning there was a loud noise that sounded like someone was using our shower. We felt the stay was overpriced. I’d still recommend it, but once was enough for us, and we won’t be back.
