Comfort Inn & Suites at CrossPlex Village

Getting to the hotel was difficult with all the construction going on, though the area inside and outside was very clean. The staff were definitely top notch, and the room was very clean too. The walls are super thin, so you can hear EVERYTHING!!! Hot water is hit or miss, and the shower pressure could definitely be better.

I’ve stayed here several times over the past few months for work and haven’t had a single complaint about any of my rooms. I rest really well here, so it’s always my first place to check for availability when work brings me to Birmingham. 💯💯

The staff were warm and friendly, and the rooms were clean. The bed was a little on the hard side, but the parking lot was well lit. I arrived at night after a long drive, and although I’d seen mixed reviews online, I’d stay here again.

The room looked clean and orderly at first, but I noticed some very curious stains when I went to set my bag on a sofa. The heater didn’t work, and the water pressure was low. Breakfast was waffles, sausage, and eggs both mornings. The coffee came from a fountain dispenser, and I ended up with mostly hot water, so I couldn’t get a decent cup. Driving there, I thought the area looked very “sketchy.” There were off-duty police officers working security when I arrived, and the lobby trash can by the check-in desk was overflowing. I also thought it was odd to have to pay in advance, since that had never happened to me before. I’ll never return.
