Daxton Hotel Birmingham, Curio Collection by Hilton

Birmingham is a cute little town with plenty of places to walk to, and the hotel made our visit for my sister's wedding even better. My husband and I came in from California, and the staff, especially Johnny and Jaxson, were kind and went out of their way to help. The rooms were lovely, the beds comfortable, and each floor had a pantry stocked with drinks and snacks. My sister has just moved to Michigan, so this is where we'll stay on future visits. We loved the place.

The wedding weekend fell around the holidays, and the hotel's own decorations looked stunning. They made the whole celebration feel even more special. Our guests loved the hotel's energy, the lobby bar, and the beautiful rooms. Planning the reception at the Daxton went smoothly from our first contact through the wedding day, including all the timing and guest travel coordination. Caroline was a joy to work with, and she and the team were responsive and accommodating. I had lots of questions and specific requests, and they handled every one without a problem. They really went above and beyond. We had a magical wedding there last month, and we'll remember it for a long time. Thank you for helping make it such a special day.

I walk my chocolate lab past the hotel every day, and the staff are kind to him too. They offer homemade treats and ask him to sit and shake hands. Their warmth reaches the wider community, not only hotel guests. I've also attended several meetings there, and every visit has been consistently impressive. Jay, Darrell, and the morning crew, Alyssa, Isaac, and Grace, make people feel welcome. Naz leads an efficient, professional valet team. Grace and Maxine provide strong leadership, while Shavar keeps Madam & Cafe Dax running smoothly behind the scenes. Thanks to everyone for making it such a positive place.

The hotel looked fantastic, and all the amenities added to the stay. I got caring, quick help whenever I needed anything, even when we had a small medical emergency. The room and the people were both great. Irish, Chris, Fidelity, and the rest of that night's valet team made the visit one to remember. Much love to the hotel, and I'd recommend it to anyone considering a stay.
