Days Inn Biscoe

Hi, my service dog and I are trying to find somewhere to stay and could use help locating a hotel. 211 suggested asking local churches whether they know of anyone or anywhere that accepts dogs, including service dogs. My dog has his vest, patches, and online tags.

The only positives were that it was quiet and check-in was quick. Our room smelled strongly of weed when we arrived, and even air freshener from the store didn't fix it. We had no parking in front of our room because construction workers were using three spaces. Something kept biting me all night while I was trying to sleep, and the room badly needed updating and a thorough cleaning. We were also charged $50 more than the reservation quote.

The housekeeping lady was very sweet, and the people here were nice, but details need more attention. I stayed four nights and there were no coffee cups in my room. The laminate floor was filthy, even after I cleaned it, and there was a huge spider by my nightstand. The coffee maker was dirty inside and dusty on the outside. Someone needs to direct her to pay closer attention to those things.

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, so we were quite satisfied compared with places we've stayed before and would come back. We stopped for one night on the way to Myrtle Beach. It's no Hilton, but it worked well for us. For food and drinks, there's a sports bar and a Mexican restaurant about a mile and a half down the road, and there's an Italian restaurant too. The place is tucked away beside a tractor supply and Dollar general, with lots of fast food nearby.
