My favorite part was how quiet it was. I barely noticed the interstate, and Kingsville was only about 10 minutes away. The room was clean, with a really comfortable bed and a big bathroom. It had new furniture and appliances, so it seems they’ve started updating the rooms. They cleaned it daily, and the smart TV had all the cable channels. It’s an older motel layout, with doors opening to the outside, and there’s plenty of parking for big trucks. The staff member at check-in was very nice. I’d requested a first-floor room online, but all the king rooms were upstairs. She offered me a ground-floor room with two queens, then asked what I preferred. Since I was traveling alone, I was fine taking the upstairs king.

The weekly rate was very fair, and I came back from work each night to a clean room and fresh towels. The owner was really nice and the customer service was good. My only trouble was the washing machine: it wouldn’t do the final spin, so I had to wring out my clothes by hand.

Great room, and the management was nice too. A good place to stay.

It’s in a lovely, quiet area, around 35 minutes from Corpus Christi, which made for a peaceful getaway. My family and I had a great stay from beginning to end. The staff were friendly and accommodating, our room was nice and newly renovated, and the continental breakfast was well stocked. There were plenty of open parking spaces, so we could park close to the room. We’ll be back!

The managers were kind and personable, and the bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. When I got to the room, I noticed a new carpet and fresh paint smell. They’re redoing all the rooms, and it’s clear they’re putting money into making the stay comfortable for guests.
