Being a couple of blocks off Main Street made a real difference at night, since the 395 gets plenty of big rigs passing through. We slept quietly. Our room at Elms Motel was comfortable, with a firm bed on a metal base, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the heater warmed the room well. The motel had been nicely remodeled in 2022 with sleek European finishes. We stayed on November 22, 2025, and couldn’t have been happier.

Pretty much what you'd expect. The guy at reception was cool, and the beds were comfy. Rooms are small and sort of clean. The lighting is harsh and cold, and the AC is noisy, so bring earplugs and hope your neighbors stay quiet. At least there's no gross carpet.

The people here are so caring and compassionate. Rooms are cozy, comfortable, and clean, and the place is handy to everything while sitting a little off the main street for some privacy. I'll stay here whenever I'm in Bishop, unless they're full. Highly recommend this little gem.

We'd gladly stay here again. The room was clean and quiet, and the proprietor took care to space guests around the property to keep noise down. Only a few rooms are grouped together. There's a grassy sitting spot out back with tables, chairs, and good shade. The park and restaurants were close, and it was easy to explore Bishop on foot.

The man at the counter was friendly and had a good sense of humor. The room was very clean, with a new AC unit and a nice TV. The parking area was clean and in good shape too. Thanks for a nice place to stay.
