We returned from our soccer games to find wallets open and tossed around, with hundreds of dollars missing. It was hard to see that as accidental. We had already heard from people on several sports teams that belongings had gone missing here, including AirPods, electronics, makeup, chargers, clothes, and cash from wallets and bags. Our team was cautious before arriving. We took most valuables with us and hid anything left behind deep in our luggage. We also put Do Not Disturb signs on the doors so nobody would enter while we were out. We reported it to the front desk and management, but were told there was nothing they could do. While we were in the lobby trying to work out what to do, two unrelated guests separately came down to report missing money from their rooms. This feels like an ongoing problem, not a one-time misunderstanding or carelessness by sports teams. Management either won’t acknowledge it or isn’t doing enough to address it. Guests shouldn’t have to hide their things or avoid housekeeping and still return to find money gone. People pay for a place where they can feel safe. The response left us feeling like guests are expected to risk theft and then watch staff shrug. The hotel needs to review its hiring, security policies, staff accountability, and management response. Between the missing money and the dismissive reaction, this was easily one of my worst hotel stays. I shouldn’t have spent a weekend worrying that staff might go through our wallets while we were away for a few hours.

On May 10, 2026, I stayed one night, and the desk clerk confirmed that was the length of my stay. I was still charged for two. I called the hotel three times, on the 13th, 14th, and 15th, and each time they said the manager would call and sort it out. No one did. After the third try, I contacted corporate customer service and was told it would be handled, but it wasn’t. I called corporate again on May 21, making five calls about this in total. They said there was no record of my first call, even though my phone log shows it took place May 15 at 1:19 pm. I’ve stayed nearly 1,500 nights at Marriott hotels over the past several years. As a lifetime Platinum member, I’m disappointed by how far the customer service and quality have fallen. I’d choose another hotel and brand now. Marriott isn’t what it used to be, and other large brands provide much better quality and service.

I arrived around midnight for a late check-in on my May 11-13, 2026 reservation, but the front desk said the hotel was full despite my confirmed booking. After traveling late, I had to stay at Courtyard and pay the difference. It felt unfair and very unprofessional. I’d provided my late arrival information, and I expected the reservation to secure a room. There was little effort to make up for the inconvenience or take responsibility. A very disappointing stay, and I won’t return.

The location worked well for dining and some entertainment, and the lobby was nice. Front desk staff were friendly too. My room experiences were a different story. I booked partly for the indoor pool and Jacuzzi, but they were closed, perhaps for renovation, I’m not sure. In my first room, the AC/heater made a noise like a car needing belt dressing, so the desk staff kindly moved me. The toilet in the new room wouldn’t flush unless I removed the tank lid and pulled the chain. So, good location and staff, but the rooms fell short for me.

This place is dated and awful. The heater in my first room didn’t work, and the replacement squeaked like nails on a chalkboard the whole time. I also got shocked every time I touched a light switch, so the electricity doesn’t seem grounded. Don’t stay here.
