The pool was a little too cold, though I could bear it. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the concierge and front desk staff were very welcoming. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend the place and come back.

The location wasn't good unless you're buying a Kia, and the parking lot was still rough, with construction vehicles and uneven spots. Maintenance wasn't great either. For the price, the value wasn't there: some bulbs were missing and they wouldn't replace them, and other units in our party had dirty pullout couches and shredded curtains. It's hard to leave a negative review because some of the staff were genuinely kind. But the Saturday desk staff and management were confrontational, mean, and unwilling to compromise. We added a day before checking in and were told we could keep our room for the final day. Then on Saturday, as we were leaving for a family funeral, we were told we had to move immediately. That wasn't possible for us, but the hotel wouldn't give us enough time and pressured us to let them move our things. We were bullied into it so we wouldn't miss the funeral. They threw everything onto a luggage cart, mixing food, bathroom supplies, clean and dirty clothes, power cords, and the rest. It was like a tornado. The whole thing felt extremely passive aggressive. After the funeral, we spent a couple of hours sorting it out, and still didn't find everything until the next morning. When we complained, we got excuses and more of the same. I'm still picking crumbs out of clothes and bathroom supplies. Thanks. I'm sure there'll be a disingenuous AI response to this. Scroll through the other 2 star reviews and you'll see many of these are recurring issues. Best to stay somewhere else.

The rooms were clean apart from one little bug. Everything else was great, and with the renovation underway, that was understandable.

The room was big enough for the whole family, which is why I gave it 3 stars. At first I thought it would be okay, and I could understand the dirty hallway because of the construction. But inside, the room smelled like old food, as if something was spoiling. The kitchen floor hadn't been swept or mopped, and the dishes left in the dishwasher for what looked like a few days were causing the smell. Then I noticed stink bugs in nearly every corner. They said the room had just been cleaned before we checked in, but that was a lie. Maybe they only made the beds. It was booked under my husband's name, and he's a silver or gold member, so we expected better. I don't know if we'll return. Next time we're in town, we'll probably try another hotel in the area.
