Everyone was warm and welcoming despite the cold weather, and the front desk staff and operations manager were extremely helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We had a great stay.

We’ve stayed here many times, ever since our daughter graduated from VaTech. It was always our go-to when we visited, and the location is great. The hotel is extremely clean, the staff always greet us with a smile, and they’re willing to go the extra mile. Robert, the operations manager, runs a great hotel and is awesome. This location doesn’t disappoint.

We came to town for a basketball game and felt looked after from arrival through departure. Staff at every level were friendly and attentive. A manager kept checking in to see if we needed anything.

The shower in the bathroom was moldy. Staff are usually nice, but tonight both shampoo and conditioner bottles were completely empty when I tried to shower. I kept getting hung up on while trying to reach the front desk. When I went downstairs, a rude person refused to help me, while my hair was dripping.

There’s no room service if you stay more than one night, so don’t expect a clean bed or bathroom or fresh towels. What a disappointment. With so many other places to choose from, we won’t be back.
