Best Way Inn

Don't go here. After looking over the rooms more closely, I found problems in all three. In one, the bed wasn't made and there was garbage in the room. The bedding in another was stained. Its lamp was hanging off the wall, with wires and shades all over the place. The third room was stained too. I thought the first room seemed okay at first, but a closer look changed that.

The room seemed okay, but the bedding was disgusting and the beds were dirty. I found a bed bug, even though I always check the beds as soon as I arrive. We asked the front desk for a refund and were refused. Now I'm out the cost of this room, which I won't use, as well as what I'll pay for another hotel.

We'd already paid and were 14 hours from home, tired from driving with my 2.5-year-old, so we were stuck. The only towel in the bathroom was a problem, and there was hair on the toilet like someone had shaved there. There wasn't any toilet paper either. I rang the front desk bell five times, and my friend tried again ten minutes later, but nobody answered. No one picked up the phone, and the phone in the room didn't work. I was itchy and uncomfortable all night. I didn't see bugs, but I worried it might have been bed bugs. I also saw someone outside leaning into a car window and handing something over. It looked suspicious, possibly a drug deal, but I don't know. For an $80 room with two beds, I can accept some shortcomings, but this was ridiculous. I hope those weren't bed bugs, especially with a little one with me. Don't stay here.

This is a low cost motel, and my room was clean, including the bathroom. I slept well and quietly, and the shower felt great. My only room complaint was the outside door, which was very hard to open. It made me think about how hard it might be to get out quickly in an emergency like a fire. I didn't have the continental breakfast they offer.
