Hampton Inn Turnersville (Philadelphia Area)

The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were great. Check-in was smooth, thanks to the white gentleman at the front desk, who was incredibly helpful and professional. He welcomed me warmly, patiently answered all my questions, and made the whole process pleasant. His friendly attitude set the tone for a wonderful stay. I’d definitely recommend this hampton inn.

On our third day, we got back to find our key cards had expired. That was not cool at the end of the day, and it’s never happened to us at another Hampton. Breakfast was another surprise: I’d been told there’d be scrambled eggs, but there were western omelets again, the same as two days earlier. Mike was cooking that morning, though it was a different person the other two days. He said no one had told him what had been served before his shift, then went in and made me scrambled eggs. I’ve never had that kind of service at any Hampton we’ve stayed at. Hot breakfast was a big reason we chose to stay at Hamptons, and Mike deserves recognition for his outstanding kindness. We’d skipped this hotel before because it had a lower star rating. I’m not sure why, since it’s awesome and as nice as the three-star Hamptons I’ve stayed in. Everyone we met on staff was polite and kind. On our first night, a woman at the desk answered the phone in a happy, upbeat voice and quickly brought what we needed straight to our third-floor room. The shower needed a small repair, and the friendly maintenance man came up and fixed it in minutes. Things break, but service isn’t always that quick. Breakfast was hot and very good, ready right at 6 a.m., and the woman working there was kind and friendly too. We couldn’t ask for more. This will be our go-to when we visit the grandkids. Thanks to everyone for working so hard to make the stay wonderful. May God bless you all.

The breakfast was delicious, and my room had lots of space. The hotel is VERY CLEAN, and the gym has what you need for a good workout. It’s conveniently close to the major highways in South Jersey and Philadelphia. First time here, and I plan to come back.

The breakfast attendant was so nice and friendly, and kept the bar immaculately clean and fully stocked. That’s why I’m giving two stars. I checked in at night, and had to wait a bit because the front desk clerk was outside having a smoke. The parking lot was full, with too few handicap spaces. The room looked nice, but the mattress was too small for its metal holder and slid around whenever you moved. I hit my shins and legs on the holder every time I got up or walked around the bed. The air unit was extremely loud, like an airplane in the room, and the doors slammed loudly all night with barely any effort.
