Coratel Plus Blaine at the National Sports Center

The beds and pillows are really, really comfortable, and the place is pet friendly. But they charge way too much per pet, per night, and the deposit was double what I’ve paid at any other hotel. Checking in with my two very small dogs meant putting down $100 for the security deposit, $100 for the dogs, and about another $100 for the room. That’s $300 just to check into a cheap hotel at the last minute. They were nice enough, but next time I’ll plan ahead to avoid that.

It’s a quiet place to relax, newly updated, and the price felt worth it. The location is right by the freeway, with easy access to plenty of restaurants and different shops. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who doesn’t mind there being no pool.

We booked through a third party, and since I’d never been to this city, it was a bit of a blind bet. We arrived late, tired, and the staff made check-in easy. Everyone was friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms are basic, nothing fancy, but ours was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the heat and AC worked. We were by an exit and heard people coming and going, though that’s part of staying in a hotel. The location was convenient, next to a gas station, fast food, and quick places to grab snacks. We rested well and had a positive stay. It’s not the Hilton, but if you want a clean, safe, affordable room, this works.

There was hair from someone else in the beds, the sheets and blankets were dirty, and I found strange stains all over plus a dead bug in the corner. The room was foul. We had nowhere else to go, so we stayed. When we called to report how dirty it was, they called us liars even though we had proof. Don’t stay here.
