Best Western Inn at Blakeslee-Pocono

We booked Best Western Lake Harmony at the last minute, even though it wasn’t part of our original plan. It turned out to be a decent stay, and the cleanliness mattered most to us. The hotel was clean, which we really appreciated. The kids enjoyed the heated indoor pool and sauna, open from 10 AM to 10 PM. There’s also a small spot to pick up snacks or games. We bought Uno there; it was a little pricey, but handy when we didn’t want to leave the hotel. Things seem livelier around here in winter and quieter off-season. For a hotel in this category, it did what we needed.

Having the heated indoor pool was my favorite part, especially with temperatures in the teens outside. Breakfast was included and decent, and the staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a nice pet area by the back door. There was grass set aside for pets and bags available. We had an accessible room, though I wish the shower could be entered from floor level. We didn’t need a tub, and this one was among the highest I’ve seen. My spouse has mobility issues and struggles to lift his legs over it.

The rooms are decent for what they cost, and the location is really easy to get to if you’re in the area. Just be sure to ask for towels and trash pickup before 11, or they won’t do it. The staff didn’t seem very interested in engaging with guests. Still, it’s not a bad place to stay.

The indoor pool and hot tub were a great way to relax after a day out, and the location makes it easy to get to Pocono Raceway and Jack Frost/Big Boulder. It’s a convenient base for racing fans and anyone heading outdoors. I stayed at the Best Western Inn at Blakeslee Pocono for a mountain getaway and found the place spotless, from the lobby through the guest rooms. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in keeping things up, and I felt at home right away. It’s a comfortable, convenient stay without the resort price tag. I’ll be back on my next trip to the mountains.
