Bears Ears Inn

The rooms have clearly had a lot of work put into them. Our beds were comfortable, the A/C was cold, and the TV had lots of channels. The staff were friendly, available, and very helpful. Breakfast was amazing too, with waffles, eggs and sausage, orange juice, pastries, and great coffee. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

The remodeled rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hotel felt quiet and safe. Check-in and checkout were quick, and everyone was friendly. In the morning there’s a free hot breakfast, including the family favorite waffle machine. Five stars, as long as you know it isn’t the Ritz. Call the hotel directly for the best price. The Edge of the Cedars museum is fantastic and just a few blocks away.

We pass through Blanding a couple of times a year and have stayed at another hotel before, but kept ending up with awful beds. This time we tried Bears Ears, and it’ll be our regular place from now on. The front desk staff were friendly, the room was very clean, and best of all, the bed was really comfortable.

Our first stay went so well that we came back for the last night of the trip, even though we’d planned to stay somewhere else. The rooms were spectacular, and most of the experience was perfectly fine, even better than we expected. The return visit had one disappointing morning, though. There was no hot breakfast left by 8:15 on Monday. The attendant came over to get their own breakfast plate while we were eating bread and saw that all the hot options were gone. They went back to the room and didn’t refill anything, presumably because breakfast ended at 9. That morning was a bummer. Four stars.
