Amber Inn Motel

My car broke down on the way to Boise, Idaho, and I was pleasantly surprised by the room. It's dated, sure, but clean and comfortable, and the price was great. A handy pit stop on a long drive. I'll definitely stay here again.

I was hoping to place other clients here, but after this experience I won't. My client checked in, then found garbage still in the bag and pubic hairs on the sheets. I called the hotel and office repeatedly all morning, left messages, and never got an answer or a call back. The issues weren't addressed, so my client refused to stay. Our business is now out $84.

For a simple, affordable night on the road, this worked just fine. The room was bigger than I expected, and everything functioned, including the AC and hot water. The bed was a bed, and the staff member I spoke with was pleasant and sorted things out quickly. I only needed a shower and a night's sleep before driving on, and it suited that perfectly. No hassles, and I'd come back. Just don't expect the Ritz Carlton.

The room was extremely clean, the cleanest one we had on our cross-country trip. The motel is close to the freeway, but I didn't hear traffic from inside. The workers were very nice, though I only saw them at check-in.
