Billingsley Creek

Room #5 is my favorite, especially that amazing, incredibly comfortable bed. The rooms come with the amenities, including a little microwave and fridge, and it's always pristine. In winter, I love the warmth and atmosphere from the stove. This is such a peaceful, restful place to return to each night, and it's become my favorite stay in Hagerman when I travel through to Miracle Hot Spring. I fell for this quaint, charming lodging right away. It's almost directly across from Lower Salmon Creek Park, a lovely spot with manicured lawns and plenty of tables for lunch. There's also a boat launch, beautiful docks, and what I think are the nicest, most prestigious restrooms in Idaho.

We loved the location and the beautiful grounds, and we'll definitely return. The room was cleaner than most hotels we've stayed in lately, though I did spot one cobweb. Also, the framed oil paintings in the rooms are awesome.

The creek's sound and scenery really rounded out the stay. The room was clean and comfortable, with good dining and lovely sights nearby. I was driving from Kansas City to Portland, OR, and wanted unusual places close to things to see, so Billingsley Creek Lodging was a perfect fit. Check-in is self-service, but the owner came out to greet me and offered help. A real gem, and I'd gladly stay again when passing through.

I was lucky to get this local lodging at a reasonable price. The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept, and the creek behind it made for relaxing mornings and evenings. It's also a handy base for exploring the Snake and Thousand Springs region. I was looking for a place in Hagerman Valley and couldn't have found a better spot. The town's restaurants were surprisingly good, especially the trout at Riverboat and the coffee and breakfast burritos from Bullets and Brew.
