Kevin and Carmen made us feel so welcome during our lovely one-day stay at Payne's. The rooms were newly done, clean, and well equipped, and breakfast was great too.

We loved winding down on the back lawn in the evening, looking out over the water before dinner. Even on Labor Day weekend, when I'm sure the inn was full, it was peaceful and quiet. Payne's Harbor View Inn is about a 20-minute walk from the ferry, close to the beach and Block Island spots like The Oar, Dead Eye Dicks, and Mahogany Shoals. Our room was spotless and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Perfect stay, and we'd definitely come back.

Carmen and Kevin welcomed us so warmly as soon as we arrived at Payne's Harbor View Inn. The cozy, clean rooms, beautiful views, and delicious breakfast made for an amazing stay. When they learned it was our anniversary, they even left us a little gift. Thanks for such a memorable time on Block. This is our new favorite spot, and we'll be back!

We usually come to Block Island by boat, but wanted to see it in a different way, so we spent Columbus Day weekend at Payne's Harbor View Inn. It was a great choice. The inn was quiet and very clean, and our large room was spotless with comfortable bedding. Breakfast each morning was delicious and had a good variety. From the inn, we could walk to marinas, beaches, restaurants, and downtown. It's a beautiful place, and we'd highly recommend staying here.

This was our second visit, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else. Kevin and Carmen are gracious, knowledgeable hosts with great personalities, and they treat you like family. Norma was a sweetheart too. The location is perfect, the views are outstanding, and everything is immaculate inside and out. We enjoyed the breakfast and conversation, and you hardly need to pack anything beyond your toothbrush: soap, shampoo, body wash, beach chairs, and towels are all provided. Can't wait to return!
