Hendrickson House sits right in the heart of Old Harbor. We didn't have a car, but could walk to restaurants, ice cream, shops, and bike rentals. The 1661 Inn manages the property and can help with arrival and departure after 9:00 a.m., as long as they're notified by noon the day before. Their inn is about a 10-minute walk away.

Basic place to stay, but the location is convenient. Check-in is an eight-minute walk away. They really should put in keypad locks instead.

We had a wonderful stay. I just wish check-in and checkout were handled at this location. You have to walk to their other place for those and to get coffee.

The place was clean and quiet, and right in town, so you're as close as you can get to the action. A great apartment to rent for a weekend or a week.
