Breakfast was just dry cereal and milk, which felt especially lacking for the price compared with other nearby hotels. Even a microwavable breakfast sandwich or potatoes would help. The bigger issue was cleanliness: the floors by the bed and table were extremely dirty. They should check every room and make sure housekeeping cleans properly. There weren’t enough towels, either, and the shampoo and conditioner felt cheap.

The suite was affordable and roomy enough for a big family, which was the one real plus. The rooms weren’t as clean as they should’ve been, though, and the place needs work to improve its quality.

There aren’t any restaurants close by, though the hotel does provide a complimentary continental breakfast. The rooms are on the small side, but the furniture is quality and newly appointed, and the microwave and fridge were nice. The room was very clean, with fresh linens, a warm blanket, and a new mattress protected by a bed bug and dust mite resistant cover. There was plenty of hot water, instantly hot at the tap, and the towels were generously sized. Heating was excellent, and the parking lot was well lit. It’s right off the highway, at the top of an enormous hill. I’m not sure we’d have made it up in worse weather.

The mountain setting is beautiful, with a view from the side of the mountain. My room was very clean and comfortable for guests. There was lots of lighting, plus small USB chargers for phones, which came in handy since I always forget my charger.
