Blue Ridge at Main and Pine

We only stayed one night at the Franklin, and the room was spacious and nice for a couple. It came with good amenities, including an electric fireplace controlled by a light switch, pots and pans for cooking, and a washer and dryer in the hall closet. There’s an elevator to the garage, which has one space per room, I believe, plus one first-come, first-served space out front. I also appreciated the fire alarm system and sprinklers. The main problem was how dirty the floors were. After walking in socks for 10-15 minutes, my feet felt sticky, and my wife and daughter noticed the same. A wet paper towel with a drop of soap turned black after just a few seconds on the floor. Management apologized and offered 20% off a future visit, but I won’t be back. I can’t see how the floors could have been cleaned since the building was built. The king bed pillows were also very firm and uncomfortable, a minor annoyance. The place was good in other ways, but it’s expensive for what you get, especially with floors that filthy.

Main and Pine is beautiful and so clean, and I loved the hot tubs and the location. I’d recommend staying here.

A terrific vacation rental in a perfect spot in blowing rock. It has two bedrooms, one bath, and a parking spot.

Beautiful amenities, and you really can’t beat this location!
