The Embers Hotel

We spent a really enjoyable girls’ weekend here with my sister-in-law and cousins. Our third-floor room was nice, and one evening we had dinner in the hotel restaurant. It was delicious and very well done. We also played a few games of Clue by the downstairs fire. The hotel is well placed for walking to Main Street, the shops, and attractions like the museum. We stopped at the public library book sale and brought home six books. Thomas at the front desk was wonderful. He took our reservation, helped us during the stay, and made sure we got the fresh-baked cookies in the afternoon. Sean, the bartender, was excellent and fun to talk with about all kinds of things. I’ll definitely visit again.

We had a perfect evening, from the food and cocktails to the room and staff. At dinner, we tried several dishes from the appetizer and shareables sections, along with beautifully made cocktails. Our room was clean, comfortable, and nicely appointed, and breakfast was delicious before we headed home.

The Embers Hotel made for a fantastic stay. It’s right in downtown Blowing Rock, with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. We also enjoyed the cozy bar and restaurant at the hotel. Our room was spotless, stylish, and very comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Everything exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

For our anniversary, my husband and I stayed at Amber’s EMBERS, and we had an unforgettable time. The place is beautiful, with a stunning view of downtown Blowing Rock, and our accommodations were clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. Thomas helped arrange the reservation from the start and went out of his way to make the stay feel special. We found champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries waiting in the room, such a personal touch. The hospitality was warm and friendly throughout.
