I came in expecting very little from the cheapest room I could find, since I'm a broke independent wrestler just trying to sleep. The area seemed sketchy at first, with a pawn shop sharing the parking lot, people running around with shopping carts, and groups hanging around outside. But once I got through the door, which was way too hard to open, it felt like stepping into a Holiday Inn. The room was clean, smelled pleasant, and was both affordable and convenient. I wasn't expecting that, but I'm glad it worked out.

The room was very old, with dirty carpet and gaps around the door big enough to see outside. The bath had been updated but the work didn't seem quite finished. The window AC and heater left the room cold. Not recommended, I'd pass on this one.

The curtains let in a lot of light since they aren't blackout curtains. The microwave and TV stopped working, but staff were quick to address the problems and very apologetic about the inconvenience.

This is a crappy motel, sorry. We used to have underage drinking parties here when I was in high school, 32 years ago.

We just needed a good night's sleep, and the room was clean. The mattress suited me perfectly, and there were extra pillows. I worried about road noise, but if there was any, I didn't hear it. Nice place.
