The toilet wouldn’t flush right, and the TV wasn’t working. We arrived late and chose not to bring up the TV, and didn’t notice the toilet problem until later. The front desk let us use the restroom in another room the next morning, which helped. The bed was pretty comfortable, and the shower had hot water and good pressure. The towels and sheets looked clean, though clearly worn. It did the job for a night, but you get what you pay for.

I was surprised by how comfortable the bed was and how clean the room looked. We’d driven for 10 hours and got in late, so maybe I was too tired to judge clearly. I can’t remember anything bad to report.

The pool was great, it was quiet, and I didn’t have any safety concerns. The employees were kind, and the place seems to have improved since reviews from a few months earlier. There was a sewage-like smell, possibly because it isn’t vented well, so I plugged the sink with a rag and used air freshener. We also had problems with the key and TV, but those were handled and fixed. The sheets were clean, and having a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker was useful. No cheap hotel is perfect, but they seem to make an effort. I’d stay again.
