Magnuson Hotel Blythe

The service is exceptional, and breakfast is very good. They also have dog-friendly rooms. Just know the rooms are very small, with a narrow hallway, so a pull cart for your belongings may not fit all the way inside and getting around can be difficult. If you have two queen beds, check them before settling in. One, often the one by the window, may be more used, while the other can feel very firm. You may need to choose which side suits you.

I left my very expensive Apple Headphones behind and called the office about an hour after we had left. They got them in the mail to our destination in Oklahoma City right away, gave me the tracking number, and followed up to make sure I received them. That kind of care says a lot about the management. We were headed to Quartzite and expected to find only rustic places, but the Magnuson Hotel in Blythe was clean and newly remodeled. The bed was really comfortable and the office staff were very friendly. We were so happy with our stay.

There were free cold drinks and snacks in the office, with other things available to buy. They don't serve breakfast. In our room, the small couch was a nice touch, and there was a mini fridge with a separate freezer section plus a Keurig single-cup machine. The K-cup holder had coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The room was pristine, with vinyl plank flooring, nice bathroom tile, and a neat lighting effect around the mirror. I couldn't tell if this was a new build or a full remodel. We only stayed one night, but it would work well for several nights or a longer stay.

A clean, roomy place with friendly staff and free snacks. The price was very reasonable for a one-night road trip stop.
