Rodeway Inn Boardman - Hermiston

Breakfast worked well for our family since we eat organic, and they had organic items available. My children also had a blast in the pool. We had two rooms for eight people, and every one of us had a wonderful stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and nicely presented, with the AC already on when we arrived. The showers were perfect, and we loved the flowers along the walk to the rooms. The owners and housekeepers were friendly and helpful. Thanks to everyone for giving us a much-needed place to kick back and relax. We’ll definitely return.

The building looks a little old, but everything worked as it should, and our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough for us and our service dog. The hospitality made the detour worthwhile. From the moment we walked in, we got a genuine smile and a helpful, pleasant welcome. We felt more like friends than customers. I’d recommend this place, and other hotels and motels could use this Rodeway as a model for customer service. Thanks to the owner and staff. We’ll definitely come back.

For $60 a night, you’re not getting the Hilton, so get over it. This place is older and in an older part of town, but clean and in good shape. The furniture wasn’t broken, there was no mold in the shower, the walls were freshly painted, and the fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and flat-screen TV all worked. Safeway is across the street. Management was great at check-in, and the bed was one of the best I’ve slept in, as good as the $175 casino room I stayed in two nights earlier. No bed bug bites at all. I’d come back.

I called to add a night, but they canceled my original reservation instead. After driving six hours, I had nowhere to stay for the second night. The kid running the place admitted it was his mistake, but was extremely rude. The hotel is old and run down, and the beds were the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept in, though I was willing to overlook that for the price. When I tried to check out, nobody was at the front desk. I’ll never stay here again because of the rude staff. Stay away. My reservation is under Nicole Kennedy, so don’t try to say I didn’t stay there.
