We had a great spa visit, one of the best spa experiences of my life, and the pools were great too. The common areas were beautiful and spotless, the staff were plentiful and helpful, and the food was good, though not amazing. But the bed was extremely firm, so if you don’t like a hard bed, you probably won’t sleep well. We asked several times for the foam pillows they offer and never got them. Food and drinks were expensive, including $32 for three tacos with no sides and $9 for lemonade. The room also felt too small for the price. We enjoyed the stay, but the bed means we won’t return.

The pool area is beautiful, but it’s for hotel guests and members, so friends and family visiting can’t use it. Service was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. Expect a 20% gratuity added to every bill, even for a cigar, and valet parking runs about $60 a day. I like this place much more than the Breakers and wanted to give it five stars, but the hallway doors are extremely loud. Each one slams with a bang inside your room, starting around 8 a.m. and continuing at night when guests return. I hope they fix the noise.

We’re planning to come back soon. This resort was amazing, clean, comfortable, and worth the money, with a charm I haven’t found elsewhere. Our suite was spacious and comfortable for our small family, with a Parisienne feel and a sweet view of a garden wooden wallway. The Cloister rooms welcome pets, and the dog bed and bowls for our fur son were such a great touch. The bathroom had dual shower heads, a double vanity, and clean, well-lit mirrors. Room service was impeccable, as were the two restaurants where we ate: the Asian restaurant downstairs in the main lobby, and the flamingo restaurant a short walk away through a romantic garden, in another beautiful tower with cathedral ceilings and a grand staircase. If you’re wondering whether to visit, just book. You won’t regret it. Hope to see you there!

The renovation is complete, and the place is ready to welcome families with a lazy river and surfing area. Everything was clean, organized, and well maintained. Staff in the pool and beach areas were very accommodating and focused on good customer service. It’s a nice place for a comfortable, peaceful break, and I recommend staying here and enjoying the visit from arrival through checkout.

I loved this beautiful hotel, and the staff made my trip. Allan R helped us check in very late and was so kind, taking care of our requests and making sure we were comfortable.
