Wyndham Boca Raton Hotel

For the price, the hotel is fine, with spacious rooms, a nice pool, and a good location. There’s a bit of a musty smell. The staff were the standout, especially Albert on the night shift. He welcomed us warmly and showed the kind of over-the-top hospitality that feels rare these days. That guy deserves a promotion.

The pool looks especially nice after dark with all the lighting, and the 24-hour gym has the essentials. Restaurants and coffee places are easy to reach on foot, which made our stay convenient. The receptionist was so kind. I stayed here before and after my cruise, and he remembered me, which made the service feel personal. We left the “Do Not Disturb” sign up the whole time, but staff still slipped thoughtful notes under the door saying we could call the front desk if we needed anything, including fresh towels. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for a Boca Raton stay.

I’ve stayed here several times and usually had a good experience. I got a great room this time, though the shower never got very hot. There have been a couple of visits with a moldy smell or a minor maintenance issue. My coworkers have also complained about smells, showers, and beds. Maybe I’ve had the better rooms, or maybe I’m just less picky.

The location is good, but for the price and the area I expected more. You can tell it’s an old hotel once you’re past the refurbished lobby. My room felt damp and musty. The bed was freshly made but uncomfortable, and the pillows were very small, not standard size. The bathroom was clean, but worn and dated.
