Sonoma Coast Villa

There’s a private deck off the room, and ours also had a jacuzzi tub in its big bathroom. The property sits back from the road, so it felt quiet and peaceful. Rooms were clean and looked well cared for, and they’re spacious. There’s an unheated pool and a hot tub, plus we had a movie night around a courtyard fire. The “Rock” oyster restaurant is about an 8-minute drive away. It gets really busy at mealtimes, but has lots of food options.

The grounds are stunning, with beautiful trees and blackberry bushes on the walk to the longhorns. We loved the courtyard too, especially the outdoor movie under the bistro lights and s’mores by the fire. Before bed, we relaxed in the indoor jacuzzi with wine, then enjoyed the in-room fireplace. The wines they carry were delicious, and breakfast was good in a pretty dining room. The manager was personable and gave us recommendations that suited us. We were welcomed with wine and homemade Chex mix, and the hotel and location are gorgeous. Incredible stay, we’ll definitely come back!

Room 19 was a good setup for our company retreat, with a connecting door to Room 18 so a larger group can be together while still having separate space. It also has a Jacuzzi, fireplace, and heated floors. I’ve stayed at Sonoma Coast Villa twice for work retreats. The property is quiet and well maintained, and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable, with fireplaces adding warmth. It’s a short drive to the beach. A calm, comfortable place for a retreat or similar stay.

The views really added to the peaceful feel of the place. I had an amazing, relaxing stay and found the rooms beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The whole property was clearly well maintained, and management was welcoming and attentive. I really enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it for a comfortable stay.
