I recorded the damage as soon as I arrived, then raised it with the front desk. Their answer was that renovations were planned for next month, which did nothing to address the condition of the room during my paid stay this week. I'm checking out tomorrow and quickly moving to a reputable hotel on Long Island. The place was shockingly neglected: peeling walls, mold in the shower, holes in the coffee cups, and torn furniture and wall coverings. I've never stayed in a hotel this dirty and poorly kept. Completely unacceptable.

We've stayed here every year for business, but this visit was easily our worst, and it came down to Steve at the front desk. We won't be back, which is a real disappointment after returning to this location for so long. We had reserved several rooms with king beds. Steve said the booking was for a double instead, so we had to contact the person who made the reservations. They checked directly with the hotel and confirmed the rooms were booked as kings. Steve kept disputing the details, antagonized us, and laughed at our concerns. He was dishonest, dismissive, and disrespectful throughout. We expected professional service based on our earlier stays, even though this isn't usually a place I'd pick if I were paying out of pocket. As a nurse and business owner, I know how much respect matters when serving clients. I would never let an employee treat customers this way. Steve's conduct was far below an acceptable standard.

I'll stay here again when I'm visiting home. The room felt cozy, and the memory foam mattress was comfortable. The rugs and some of the decor are dated, but I can live with that. My toilet mount was very loose, so I'll let the desk know it needs fixing for safety, though it seems minor. There aren't any USB outlets, so bring your own plugs. Lotion and shower gel are provided, which is a nice plus. See you again.

Check-in for the wedding was easy, and I found the location without trouble, though the hotel is in an industrial area. The parking lot was poorly lit and had too many people hanging around who seemed shady. The room was very old, with a sunken couch, stained carpet, and torn curtains. The bathroom faucet was coming out of its fitting, and the shower water was barely warm. I had to spend more money getting my hair done at a local salon. I should have read the reviews first, since hot water was one of the main complaints. I won't stay here again.
