The staff were wonderful, from check-in to the breakfast servers and room cleaners. They seemed well managed and happy in their jobs. I also loved that the room smelled neutral, not like artificial scents used to cover things up, and it was very clean, including the bathroom. The bed was comfy, like it had a topper, and I slept really well. Even though the hotel is near a highway and planes fly quite close, it was the quietest place I’ve stayed. The insulation is great, the blackout blinds work, and I couldn’t hear other guests. They have filtered water for filling bottles, plus a social hour in the lower lobby with salad, cheese, vegetables and dip, and a different soup. I went three days, though I’m not sure it happens every day. Drinks include wine, beer, or soda, and I saw kids getting Shirley Temples. The chili tasted homemade and was delicious. There are locations in Washington State, Oregon, California, and Boise. I’ll look for this hotel again when traveling. Walmart is within walking distance if you forgot something, and ask about the nearby Mexican restaurant, it was fantastic.

The front desk made us feel at home, taking time to know us and calling us by our first names. Everyone on staff was polite, friendly, and always willing to go above and beyond. Breakfast had a ton of choices, and the pool area was consistently nice and well kept. There’s also a weight room on the bottom floor, and my wife really enjoyed visiting the sauna every day. It was our first stay at the Oxford, but it won’t be our last. I’ll make this my regular Boise stay and tell everyone I know about it. So much more I could mention, ten stars! Thanks for everything.

The Oxford Suites feels like home whenever we’re in the Boise area. It’s a great place to stay, with beautiful rooms, very comfy beds, big tubs, and cozy furniture. Thanks for another lovely visit, and a shout-out to Zephyr and Chris!

We liked the hotel enough to come back on our return trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the thermostat worked. There was a good-sized fridge, a great gym with a Peloton bike, and the hot tub worked well enough for us. Evening social hour, breakfast, and complimentary coffee were included. The rooms were quiet and well insulated, even though we were near the ice machine. Food was limited for our plant-based diet, though. There wasn’t much we could eat, no plant-based milk for oatmeal or coffee, and very few oatmeal toppings.

We’ve been coming back around my granddaughter’s birthday for 13 years, ever since the year she was born, and it feels like a second home. It’s familiar, comfortable, clean, and friendly. One year the accommodations disappointed us, but we still returned. The place is set back in an area that feels safe and is convenient to the highway, so shopping and entertainment in Meridian and Boise are quick to reach. I’ve noticed lots of families staying nearby for tournaments and competitive events. The AGM was especially welcoming and friendly.
