The detached cottage was lovely, and so was the second-floor apartment where we stayed at the beginning. The whole property is beautiful, clean, and unique, and the family who owns it clearly takes great care of it. Dave was wonderful to work with and made our stay feel even more special. We loved the experience and would definitely return on a future visit to the Island. If you're looking for somewhere to stay there, check whether they have availability. Such a gem! ❤️

We came to Malu Lani Inn for our 35th wedding anniversary, and the romantic feel made it a great choice. There are lovely water views, the landscaping is beautiful, and the place was very clean. We could dock our 25’ boat there too. What an amazing spot!

We made fresh-caught shrimp from the local marina for dinner, and the kitchen and dining space made that easy. Breakfast was leisurely too, with a beautiful view from the balcony. Malu Lani was a perfect place to call home during our wonderful week in Florida. Owner Sharon can point you toward local history, ferries, kayak rentals, restaurants, parks nearby, shopping, ice cream, and activities you might enjoy. Malu Lani was EXCELLENT!!!

The units are clean and nicely updated, and the neighborhood is peaceful. Being out on the boat is especially entertaining here. The owners are so courteous, friendly, and helpful that I'm almost reluctant to post this, since I selfishly want to keep the place available for myself. Stay at Malu Lani in Bokeelia and you’ll probably return many times. It won’t disappoint.

For a peaceful waterfront vacation, I’d recommend Malu Lani inn. Sharon and David are wonderful hosts, and they keep the inn clean and well cared for. If you fish, the harbor is only about 3 minutes away, just east of Boca Grande pass, which is known for some of the best tarpon fishing around the world. It’s the best place to stay in the area.
