Ramada Bolingbrook

When my truck is being serviced in Bolingbrook, I'm always glad to get off the road and stay at the Ramada in Bolingbrook Illinois, right beside the Greater I55 truck stop. They usually allow late checkout, which helps while I'm waiting for my job to say, "your truck is ready." The location is perfect for my job's headquarters, and I feel very safe there. Stores are walkable across Interstate 55, and there's a Laredo Taco at the Speedway across the street, which I love when I'm back home in the Nashville TN Metro. I've stayed there for several years and have never seen a bug or noticed a bad smell in the large, clean, quiet rooms. They have a coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, television, and safe. The staff are excellent and very friendly. It's hard to find overnight staff, but the person on duty is always awake and available. I appreciate the continental breakfast, even when I wake up late after a long day of trucking. I can usually ask for something like fruit, a bagel, or yogurt. I highly recommend Ramada Bolingbrook Illinois, and the owners are very, very nice people.

The front desk staff were so pleasant and easy to talk to. Breakfast was nice, with waffles, my husband's favorite, and bagels. The towels were thick and lovely, and I know towels. The baths could use a refresh, but everything else was clean and fresh.

The location was convenient, in a good area with plenty of nearby places to walk around and explore. The room was clean and very well kept, and breakfast was top notch. The overnight and morning front desk staff, the manager, and the housekeepers were all professional, polite, and well mannered. The place was in phenomenal shape overall. I'll definitely come back and stay here again.

We were there for ten minutes, found what we believe were bedbugs, and left. The hotel argued and called us liars when we asked for a refund, even though I have pictures and will show anyone who asks. They won't refund the $157 because they say they looked and found nothing. The beds are white, and they're trying to call the bugs lint. I still have photos; Google won't let me upload them, but I'll make a public drive. This is a dirty hotel, and the staff have been incredibly unprofessional. They won't let us speak with a manager. We're not from the area, or we'd probably have known better. They seem like scam artists. The health department is being called, and my bank will be speaking with them. EDIT TO ADD: If I could give zero stars, I would.
