My room was clean and the staff were friendly, but that’s about where the positives end. The place is very dated and clearly low budget. I saw the manager fixing leaks on the way to my room, breakfast had run out of everything, and the tables weren’t clean. There’s no elevator for the second floor, either. For what they charge, I wouldn’t come back. Only consider it if you’ve run out of options.

For the price, I had a good stay. The room was clean, check-in went smoothly, and the staff were kind. I’d stay again.

Breakfast was okay, though the seating space is rather small. The walls and doors are thin enough that I could hear the man next door snoring. My room was pretty good overall, but the bed was hard and the armchair was worn, with large holes in its arms.

Compared with the other places I’ve stayed in Bolivar, I’d give the Super 8 a 4. The room had useful extras I hadn’t noticed on the website: a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. Breakfast didn’t impress me, and the dining area is very small.

The fridge barely stays below room temperature, the shower doesn’t work properly, and there was blood on a bath towel. The curtains had what looked like blood or food on them, too. It’s also very noisy. Tolerable, I guess.
