La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Richmond-Midlothian

Miss.Dee in the breakfast kitchen was so welcoming. Everything was stocked, the area was clean, and I loved her hospitality. Chris at the front desk checked me in without any trouble and gave helpful suggestions for things nearby. The room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the night was quiet and pleasant. I’d come back.

We only needed a hotel because my sister is in the heart hospital fighting for her life, so the rude attitude at checkout was the last thing we needed. Check-in had gone well, but there was hair in the tub. When I asked the front desk guy working at 8pm on December 19, 2025 to clean the hair he’d missed, he did clean it, then walked out with a terrible attitude. Housekeeping should have caught it in the first place. I’ll never book here again.

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and breakfast was great. I was impressed by the hotel and wished I could have stayed one more night. My only suggestion is to make the curtains thicker, especially on the first floor. They let you see almost everything outside, and I’m sure people could see into the room too. That lack of privacy aside, I’d stay here again.

American Airlines arranged this hotel after a rebooking problem. I got in around midnight and check-in was easy, but the room’s adjoining door had only a simple latch. The two women in the next room talked loudly for at least half an hour, so I finally knocked to remind them it was past midnight. The hotel wasn’t at fault, but keep it in mind if you need quiet and end up with inconsiderate neighbors. It’s an okay place to sleep otherwise.
