The delicious breakfast and the private message in our room were lovely touches. Steve and Karen were so helpful and friendly, and their hospitality made the visit interesting and well worth it. They’ve kept their home historically accurate, which added a lot to the experience. We chose the Carlton house for our 39th wedding anniversary after reading the good online reviews, and they were all true. We weren’t disappointed. We’d recommend Carleton House to anyone!

We really enjoyed the food, and the hosts were so nice. They even entertained us with fiddle music and brought coffee upstairs to get our day started. The antiques made the place special, and the whole visit was wonderful. I’d highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone going to Bonham, or make a special trip just for it.

The breakfast was made to order, and Karen even prepared gluten-free pancakes for me. While we ate, Steve played violin and Karen played the washboard. They were both lovely to meet, and we feel blessed to have had the chance. Karen and Steve were wonderful hosts. The house, built in 1888, is decorated beautifully, and its architecture feels true to the period. Come enjoy the experience, it’ll be one to remember. Thank you, Karen and Steve.

Karen’s homemade cookies melt in your mouth, and Steve’s guitar and violin music made the house feel one of a kind. We loved our stay! My husband and I had such a relaxing, wonderful visit at the Carleton House with Karen and Steve. Their hospitality was excellent, and the gourmet breakfasts were delicious. With the home’s history and vintage decor throughout, it’s one of the best B and B’s we’ve visited in Texas. A must stay.

Karen and Steve are two of the kindest, most genuinely wonderful people we’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting with. We had such a memorable stay at this historic North Texas gem, and we’ll be back someday soon to hear Steve play his fiddle again. Thank you so much! The room was quaint and cozy, the food was top notch and gourmet delicious, and there were so many interesting antiques to look at. G&S
