The rooms were clean and looked recently refreshed, which made the stay more comfortable than I'd expected in this rural area. The furnishings and fixtures felt up to date, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast had the usual Holiday Inn Express choices, including hot food, cereal, and the cinnamon rolls, so it was a familiar, satisfying way to start the day. This is a practical stop just off I-10, especially if you're headed toward Panama City Beach or driving a long stretch of interstate. It's a bit out of the way otherwise and probably isn't a destination on its own, but for a night passing through Holmes County it was dependable and convenient.

The front desk took our concerns seriously when we reported them the next morning. She said they could've moved us if we'd spoken up earlier, offered loyalty points, and wrote down what was wrong. One of our two rooms was clean and nicely furnished, while the other fell short. I'd give the place another try.

Tiffany deserves a shout-out for running breakfast. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had, and our room was extremely clean. We had a really nice stay and would definitely return.

The staff made the stay, always pleasant and ready to help. The room was spotless, everything worked, and the bed was comfortable. Check-in and checkout both went smoothly. They also put out cookies each evening from 5pm to 8pm, which was a nice touch.

The hotel made several exceptions to its rules because they understood how bad our situation was, and I'm very grateful. My husband was allowed to repair our truck in the parking lot as long as he cleaned up before we left. The tow company had brought the truck and our large cargo trailer, loaded with our household things, from our breakdown on the move from Texas to Florida. They even dropped everything in a good spot for the repairs. Thank you to Holiday Inn and suites and all the staff for making a very stressful move a little less awful.
