The owner was friendly and the room was clean, with no smoke or chemical smell. The shower was great, the bed comfortable, and the price decent. I was glad there were no surprise deposits at check-in for things I usually never get back, even when we leave everything tidy. He doesn't seem to take advantage of guests, and I hope people treat him fairly too, since that kind of thing has hurt motels in general.

I rode my motorcycle through the rain to get there, and was turned away while temporarily homeless because I couldn't afford a lawyer. I wasn't wearing makeup and my hair was a mess because I'm trying to survive, not look good for a business. The owner also said I couldn't work at the hotel where I'd been staying because he “can't trust” me for being homeless. When my phone was at 2%, they wouldn't let me charge it in the lobby, even after I explained how serious and dangerous my situation was. I keep thinking about what might have happened if my abuser had been waiting in the parking lot. Thankfully that wasn't the case this time, but many domestic violence victims face that reality. Putting someone's safety at risk over appearances, or denying basic humanity to someone who's struggling, is unacceptable. What kind of business treats vulnerable people this way?

The sunsets from the upstairs balcony are amazing, and I loved being able to look out over everything and watch people below. I lived here all summer three years ago, and the location was great. The man who's worked here for years and his stunning wife clean all the rooms themselves every morning after 11:00 am. I love this motel and will always come back. Thanks for treating me special, just like everyone else.

The room was nice and clean, though the bathtub had rust and could use some TLC. I paid 74 dollars on Sunday evening for two people, not the 56 dollars advertised. There was no WiFi and no washcloths. It was expensive, but the stay wasn't bad otherwise.

I was booking for two adults and a service dog when the manager said the dog required a $100.00 deposit. I told him service animals can't be charged for, and that we had all the paperwork, but he didn't care. He said it was his hotel and he could do what he wanted, and told me to go elsewhere if I didn't like it. I understand that's against the American disability act, so he lost my business.
