Beach Cove Waterfront Inn

We'd happily come back if we're in the area again. The room was clean and modern, but the bed felt a bit too firm and springy for us, and the pillows flattened under any weight, so ask for extra ones. The room was on the small side, though cozy, and had a private balcony in the building we stayed in. We liked the view and found the location convenient for shops and points of interest. Breakfast had several options, the staff were pleasant, and the price seemed very reasonable for what was included. We stayed two weekend nights with my wife.

The staff were wonderful and took great care of us. The location is beautiful, and the accommodations work well, especially for families with kids. The rooms themselves, though, left a lot to be desired. They seemed cheaply renovated, with little sound insulation in the walls and ceilings, so noise from neighbors carries. A proper closet and some thoughtful work on the otherwise awful bathroom would help a lot. If you want to enjoy spending time in your room while visiting boothbay, there are much better options.

We and our friends really enjoyed staying at the Hotel. It's simple, clean, and comfortable, with large balconies and breathtaking lake views in every room. The location was ideal, close to downtown and restaurants but still quiet and peaceful. The owner, Larisa, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you, Larisa, for taking such good care of us!

The view was lovely, and we enjoyed sitting on our private deck to watch the stars and hear the loons. Getting down to the water and back up was a tough walk, but worth the effort. We didn't get a chance to use the boats, though the glass-like water made me imagine how peaceful paddling there would be.
