Captain Sawyer's Bed & Breakfast

We could walk everywhere, and sitting on the porch with coffee in the morning and wine in the evening was a treat. Breakfast was delicious, and the couple who run the B&B were friendly and welcoming. Captain Sawyer's was so clean and cute, and the bed was the most comfortable we've ever had away from home. It was our first time in Boothbay Harbor, and we're so happy we chose it. We won't stay anywhere else when we return to Boothbay!

We stayed a couple of nights in the Roseway Room at Captain Sawyer's, and Ceire & Keith were lovely, personable hosts who made sure everything was just right and shared helpful local knowledge. Everything in town is walkable from this downtown spot. Whenever we come back to Booth Bay, we'll definitely stay at Captain Sawyer's again.

The staff were all very nice, and we'd definitely stay again. It's a really cute place, with a nice harbor view and an easy walk to everything in town. Breakfast was great, and my wife and I spent a lot of time reading. Parking is tight up a steep hill for large vehicles, though. The boat launch piers are very close, which is fun too. We took a little trip to squirrel island and back.

We just spent two nights at Captain Sawyers Bed and Breakfast in Boothbay Harbor, and it was fantastic. Ceire and Keith are great hosts. We were tired after a long day of travel, and they immediately made us feel at home. They were friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and the conversation was lovely. The rooms have private bathrooms, and the bed and comforter were plush and comfortable. There are lots of seats on the huge front porch upstairs and down, where you can sip coffee and watch the town start its day. The food was my favorite part. We had homemade scones, veggie fritattas, lemon bars, and chocolate chip cookies. For breakfast this morning, we had homemade bread with havarti cheese, caramelized onions, locally made maple sage sausage, a sunny-side-up fried egg, potatoes, and chorizo. The food was amazing. Highly recommend!
