Guests are encouraged to spend time with each other here, so come ready to be friendly. We met fellow guests and really enjoyed the social feel. In the morning, we had locally sourced breakfast items, and there were s’mores by the bonfire that evening. The kitchen was beautiful and stocked with snacks, with room to cook if you don’t want to eat out. One night, after we came back from a day of activities, a guest had made homemade lasagna for everyone in the house. That says a lot about the warm, friendly atmosphere. The property and views were gorgeous, the location was great, and there were thoughtful amenities. Our host was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating, doing everything he could to help us feel at home and enjoy the trip. When I left something behind, he went out of his way to ship it back. Such a thoughtful gesture. It was a special stay, and I’ll definitely be back.

John Jersey was an incredibly nice host and always seemed happy to make our stay better. There were so many complimentary things, and the atmosphere was lovely. The location and lodging were exceptional, with everything walkable. I’ve stayed in many places across more than 30 states, and this is easily one of my top five.

Our family comes to BBH every year on the first weekend in December, and this was our first stay here. The communal areas and shared kitchen are lovely. My kids especially enjoyed the bonfire during the boat parade and fireworks. Jersey was super communicative and helpful before we arrived. We had an awesome stay and will be back.

We enjoyed the friendly people we got to visit with during our downtime, and the manager brought a lot of energy and hospitality to the place. The views were incredible, and the fire pit was fun. The house had all the amenities to feel like a chic boutique hotel. Hope to return!
